Pass on the crayons please...

Driving to work one morning, I was listening to my favorite radio station. I heard a testimony that made me take a second look at my bucketful of crayons and an even closer look at my heart. She was a lady who is involved with a ministry that blesses the lives of children in foreign countries. She told of an instance where she watched a child color a picture with the new crayons they had just received. The child then took the picture to her father. He began to weep. Why do you think that would happen? I mean it was just a coloring book page, right? Not really any monetary value, right? Wrong. You see to purchase a box of eight count crayons in that country you would have to pay five dollars. Five dollars for eight crayons! Can you imagine? Restaurants give you three for free. To that family, they had just received a gift of great price. To that child, she was given a canvas in which to color her dreams. Priceless. I must say, that after hearing this, my crayon bucket just increased in value beyond measure.
