It's all about the moment

Art, such a small structured word that contains a wide span of definition and outcome as well as expression. In the realm of childhood, it is all about linking the experience with the expression. As for the product of the experience, it is not important. The first steps of art and expression come from experience.  Children of all ages just need to get their hands in to it. Art is to be explored through hands on activities that engage the senses. It is not an expensive venture as art is found in the most simple as well as the complex.

Some of the simplest items for early art exploration can be just a plain cardboard box and paints.

(washable, of course!) Paintbrushes are optional.
