Life's Manual- for Kids.

Working in children's ministry and development  for the past 25 years has proved to be a challenge course that can only be painted by stories of experience. The most important resource that I have and will always need is God's Word. It is the truth. Facts change, but truth does not. For kids, my husband and I use the Adventure Bible by Zonderkids. The children we pastor each have one of these Bibles. With everyone using the same Bible, we are able to help the children learn how to navigate their way in and through God's Word. Let's face it, even we adults find it a challenge in locating some of the books of the Bible. With having the same Bible, we can direct children by page numbers until they master finding scripture by the reference with book, chapter, and verse. This has proven to be effective in teaching children how to use their Bible. Some of our kids have mastered this and now are finding scriptures by the reference and not page number. This version also offers devotions, biblical times statistics, life application tips, and more to help children understand and grow in their personal relationship with God. The Bible is our map for navigating through life and finding God's purpose for our lives. Developing these skills at a young age will equip our children with a firm foundation for such changing and stormy times in which we live.
